What to do?

I got another book today. Its "Free" by Chris Anderson. It is my first audio book from iTunes. I started listening to it while getting breakfast for the kids. It is very interesting. Now I have to choose between reading my book from the library or listening to my audio book. What to do?

Tech Practice Test

This is from my 6 year old son's practice test today. He is going to be studying for his Tech license as part of his school work, one of the many privileges of home schooling.

Nike+ Running

Since getting my Nike+ I have run 40.63 miles. I didn't run at all from Thanksgiving to Christmas. Starting up again in January, I feel like I am starting over. Although I can still run faster than when I first started. A good run just feels good.

Amateur Radio Class

Tonight I attended an Amateur radio class for the GJ West Stake. I was very informative about the plans form the Church for radio communication, in case of an emergency. I have a link to the practice tests on the side column of my blog, click the picture of the big antenna in the blue sky, or click here. Good luck to everyone studying to get their FCC Amateur Radio License.

A nice run in the morning just makes you feel good. 2 miles today.

Dave Ramsey

So this past week or so I've been reading "The Total Money Makeover" by Dave Ramsey, yesterday I finished reading it. It is a great book. I took time this past week and listed some stuff on ebay (click the link to check out any active auctions) and have made more on it than I thought I would. I also sold my Yaesu FT-2800M, to a guy locally. This was a good week, my wife and I found ways to make a lot of extra money. Now if we could find ways to do that every week. We are working towards freedom from debt. Before I started reading this book, we had made a goal to not go out to eat this month, today is the 15th and we are doing great!

"God tends to pour blessings on people going in a direction He wants them to go." - Dave Ramsey

The Lord has definently opened the windows of heaven, and poured out a blessing. -Malachi 3:10

Taxes

I did my taxes today. Well except that the IRS doesn't start processing e-files until Jan. 15th and Colorado doesn't accept e-file until after Jan. 15th. I am getting a pretty good refund, mostly because of the Three kids and the huge loss on my rental property. I sure do love online tax software. It makes it so easy.
