Ride Idaho

For my vacation in August, My family volunteered with the YMCA for Ride Idaho. The kids had fun watching movies and playing the wii in the car and staying in a different hotel every night. There were over 200 cycleist on the tour. My wife and I went with The Voice of Idaho Amatuer Radio Club, to provide communication and sag support. You can see pictures of this event here.

My Birthday Party

For my Birthday party we had a BBQ with just the Family. I have a feeling that my son loved the cake :) !!!

Idaho Rally Video

Idaho Rally

This weekend was the Idaho Rally. With a few Crashes, Delays and Real Fast Cars, the Rally ended with a lot of dirt all over everything. Watching the cars drift around the corners was awesome. That would be so much fun.

Voice of Idaho Event

This next event is going to be full of excitement.


Rally cars racing along the edge of a river, at speeds double, triple or more, of the posted speed limit. The Voice of Idaho ARC will be there to provide emergency communication. Last year we had to call in life flight. This year, who knows.

Voice of Idaho Event

The Cycle for Independence was today. It was a great event. I was at the 31 mile mark on the 64 mile course. The ride started at 8am and the first rider arrived at our water station at 9:22am. The last riders went by at about 11:35am. After the ride they had lunch for everyone at the finish line.
