New Vinyl Decals

Here are some Decals that I made today. I had a request from a girl here in town for a couple of these. I made a few extra to sell. They are 5"x5" and only $3ea. Want one? or more?

This is without the white border.
This one I put a white border, to help it stand out.
What can I make for you?

Good to Great ~ by Jim Collins

I his book Jim says, "Good is the enemy of great. And that is one of the key reasons why we have so little that becomes great."
Why is it that so often we get to were we are good at something and then stop there? We do we settle for good? Why not always strive for great? It's strange that we have gotten to a point in society that we accept things when the are good. We need to take the advice that Dave Ramsey gives and start saying, "That's not good enough!" We need to stop accepting good and hold out for great.

Another book done

I finished reading "Secrets of the Millionaire Mind" by T. Harv Eker. What a great book. I checked it out from the library. I am definently going to have to buy this one for my own library. This book and "Monday Morning Choices" by David Cottrell, are both must reads.

The more you learn the more you earn.

Monday Morning (Everyday) Choices - David Cottrell

#1 The No-Victim Choice …
Don’t Let Your Past Eat Your Future
Never be bulled into silence. Never allow yourself to be made a victim. Accept no one’s definition of your life, but define yourself.
~Harvey S. Firestone

#2 The Commitment Choice …
Be Passionate Enough to Succed
When work, commitment, and pleasure all become one, and you reach that deep well where passion lives, nothing is impossible.
~Anonymous

#3 The Values Choice …
Choose the Right Enemies
A wise man learns more from his enemies than a fool from his friends.
~Baltasar Gracian

#4 The Integrity Choice …
Do The Right Thing
A good name is more desirable than great riche; to be esteemed is better than silver and gold.
~Proverbs 22:1 (NIV)

#5 The Do-Something Choice…
Don’t Vacation on “Someday Isle”
Have you ever said: “Someday I’ll be happy when… I lose twenty pounds, live in a bigger house… get a new boyfriend/girlfriend… make more money, etc? Someday Isle is not a dream vacation spot. It is an imaginary destination to which you will never arrive. It is the carrot on the stick perpetually in front of you. So close you can see it, yet you will never reach it. Don’t vacation on Someday Isle.
~Frank F. Lunn

#6 The Persistence Choice …
Learn From Falure
Many of life’s failures ore people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up.
~Thomas Edison

#7 The Attitude Choice …
Take the Enthusiastic Approach
There’s very little difference in people. But that little difference makes a big difference. The little difference is attitude. The BIG DIFFERENCE is whether it is positive or negative.
~W. Clement Stone

#8 The Adversity Choice …
Conquer Difficult Times
Within all of us are wells of thought and dynamos of energy which are not suspected until emergencies arise. Then, oftentimes, we find that it is comparatively simple to double or triple our former capacities and to amaze ourselves by the results achived.
~Thomas J. Watson

#9 The Relationship Choice …
Connect with Success
Personal relationships are the fertile soil from which all advancement, all success, all achievement in real life grows.
~Ben Stein

#10 The Criticism Choice …
Embrace Tough Learning
Remember, if people talk behind your back, it only means your two steps ahead.
~Fannie Flagg

#11 The Reality Choice …
Face the Truth
Don’t paint stripes on your back if you’re not a zebra. Focus on building upon your unique abilities.
~Lee J. Colan

#12 The Legacy Choice …
Give Your Gift
In everyone’s life, at some time, our inner fire goes out. It is burst into a flame by an encounter with another human being. We should all be thankful for those people who rekindle the inner spirit.
~Albert Schweitzer

My new picture for work

At work we are getting a cool update to be able to put our picture on our profile. This is my picture.

Tuesday, February 2, 2010

I went to the library with my wife and kids yesterday. I picked up two books, "Secrets of the Millionaire Mind" by T. Harv Eker and "Good to Great" by Jim Collins. Of course my six year old had to out do me and he got 3 books.
